Q. How come more people aren’t doing this business if it is so good?
A. There will be more and more people getting into this business as it becomes better known. Right now it is relatively new in the United States. As an example; in January of 2006 there were only 5 mattress sanitizing companies in the United States listed on the internet, less than a year later there are over 50 listed. There are a lot more now. To be able to sanitize most mattresses in the United States every year it would take over 150,000 mattress sanitizing companies based on 2000 mattress a year each. So you can see the potential. That’s also not counting hotels, motels, and other commercial businesses.
Q. Won’t clean sheets protect me from dust mites, germs, fungus, etc?
A. NO, dust mites and the like are so small, it would be like tying to keep rats inside a chain link fence. They would simply walk through the holes in the fence, or in the case of dust mites through the weave of the sheets.
Q. How often should mattresses be sanitized?
A. It is recommended that the service should be performed every six months.
Q. Is there any cleanup after you are done?
A. No, just pack up your equipment which is simple and you are all done. The mattress is dry and ready to make when you have finished sanitizing.
Q. After buying a new mattress how long should it be before it needs sanitizing?
A. Usually within six months the mattress is contaminated with dust mites, and other contaminates and should be sanitized. The older the mattress the worst the infestation, if it has not been previously sanitized. Mattresses can become very unhealthy if not cleaned or sanitized.
Q. Do protective mattress covers work?
A. Tests have shown that they do not work very well and every mattress we have tested with them have shown to be contaminated. If you put a protective cover over an unsanitized mattress, you will be incubating the bacteria, mold, and fungus.
Q. Can sanitizing the mattress cure asthma or allergies?
A. No, but it can relieve the symptoms by eliminating the biggest cause that triggers those symptoms, which is dust mite fecal matter, dust mite saliva and regurgitation, and dead dust mites. It also removes mold spores, bacteria, fungus, and other contaminates in the mattress which can also cause allergic reactions. Those allergy and asthma suffers will definitely improve, and we have found many people’s allergy problems totally disappear. Children are the biggest concern, because it has been found that high exposure to dust mites and other contaminates can cause children to develop asthma and allergy problems. With children spending more and more time indoors, we are seeing an epidemic of asthma in the United States. These contaminates need to be removed from the home, and that’s where you come in.
Q. Is the equipment hard or complicated to use?
A. No, it is very easy to use and actually fun to. You will be amazed at all the things you can clean and sanitize. You can detail a car, clean a stove of baked on food, clean a window cleaner than you have ever gotten it. There is almost nothing you can’t clean and/or sanitize.
Q. Is it really necesarry to treat the carpet, and if so, how hard is it?
A. It is important to treat the carpets as well as the mattresses, and furniture. Carpets also contain dust mites, and other pathogens. So carpets need to be treated as well. Not doing so will result in not give your customer the full benefit of the cleaning. It is easy to treat carpets. The procedure is vacuum thoroughly, then apply our Anti-Allergen Relief Treatment, that’s it.
